A trusted online broker with expertise in the US, European, and Asian stock markets, registered in Cyprus, and offering a broad range of services in the financial markets, is looking for a Settlement Officer to join its expanding team.
Обязанности
Execution of FOP (Free of Payment) transfers for various types of securities for institutional and retail clients;
Settlement of proprietary and clients’ trades in equities and fixed-income securities;
Monitoring of pending, failed/unmatched transfers, and timely escalation in case of completed cases;
Work closely with Custodians, Prime Brokers, Client Managers, and Professional Clients;
Cooperation with the Compliance /Legal/Transaction monitoring teams regarding clients' transactions;
Manage client manager’s e-mail queries related to existing/potential transactions;
Understand operational risk and ensure client protection is ahead;
Participation in the DVP exchange trades settlement process;
Participation in complex intra-group securities transfers;
Maintain a positive working relationship with the counterparties and drive client service standards for the department.
Требования
3+ years in Operations demonstrated through work experience;
Master’s degree in business, finance or related field;
Product knowledge of equities and fixed income securities;
Good knowledge of custody operations workflows, settlement procedures and systems;
Knowledge of the specifics of domestic securities markets will be considered as a significant advantage;
Understanding of OTC settlement process;
Knowledge of SWIFT will be an advantage (specifically MT5XX format);
Ability to use formulas and pivot tables in MS Excel;
Excellent interpersonal skills;
Effective communication skills with proficiency in verbal and writing English and Russian;
Ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while balancing multiple priorities;
Great team player and willingness to learn.
